After prolonged bed rest, spinal cord injury or a neurological event, a patient cannot simply be stood up. Blood pressure regulation, weight-bearing tolerance and postural control all have to be rebuilt in stages.

A motorised tilt table provides that progression under control — moving the patient from horizontal toward upright in graded increments, secured by body straps and supported at the feet, so tolerance can be built session by session and stopped the moment the patient signals.

Every unit is fabricated, finished and checked by XINIX — one manufacturer, and one point of accountability from specification to service.

Tilt tables — common questions

What is a tilt table used for?

A tilt table brings a patient from a horizontal position progressively toward supported standing. It is used to retrain orthostatic tolerance and weight-bearing after prolonged bed rest, spinal cord injury, stroke and other neurological events, where standing cannot yet be achieved independently.

What is the difference between the Standard, Premium and Hi-Low tilt tables?

Standard and Premium are controlled configuration classes differing in construction, upholstery and accessory specification. The Hi-Low Motorised Electric Tilt Table adds motorised height adjustment in addition to the tilt movement. The exact configuration is confirmed on the quotation.

Is the tilt movement motorised?

Yes. All XINIX tilt tables in this range use motorised tilt movement for graded, controlled upright positioning rather than manual gear operation.

What accessories are available?

Activity tray, safety straps and foot support are available depending on the configuration selected. Accessories are confirmed at quotation stage.

Can the tilt table be manufactured to a custom specification?

Yes. Every unit is built by XINIX, so dimensions, upholstery and accessories can be built to your department's requirement, including for institutional and tender supply.
