Configuration, dimensions, upholstery and accessories are confirmed at quotation stage.

Neurodevelopmental therapy is not delivered from beside a narrow couch. Patients sit, kneel, roll and transfer on the platform, and the therapist frequently works on the surface alongside them. That requires width, a low stable height, and a base that will not shift under dynamic load.

The XINIX Bobath table is built as a full platform with an upholstered top and a solid base with integrated storage — so mats, wedges, rolls and bolsters live with the table rather than across the room.

Every unit is fabricated, finished and checked by XINIX — one manufacturer, and one point of accountability from specification to service.

Bobath tables — common questions

What is a Bobath table used for?

A Bobath table is a wide, low treatment platform used for neurodevelopmental therapy — the Bobath concept. The width lets the therapist work from any side and move with the patient during mat work, sitting balance, transfers and developmental positioning, which a narrow treatment couch does not permit.

What sizes are available?

XINIX manufactures Bobath tables in 6 × 3 ft and 6 × 4 ft as controlled products, plus a further controlled configuration, and manufactures other sizes to requirement.

Why is a Bobath table wider than a normal treatment couch?

Because the therapy happens on the surface rather than beside it. Patients sit, kneel, roll and transfer on the table, and the therapist often works on it alongside the patient. The extra width provides the working area and safety margin neurodevelopmental therapy needs.

Can Bobath tables be made to custom sizes?

Yes. XINIX manufactures in its own facility, so dimensions, upholstery and storage configuration are built to your department's requirement.
